the SA green-tint parkerizing and attention to detail is awesome...everything is supertight on this rifle, literally feels brand new as if i was picking it up at the armory lol...

my receiver serial number puts its date of production during the month of January 1944.

did they fake the stock stamps as well?
 
That is absolutely beautiful and its already gone up in value. I can't wait until mine comes in tomorrow. I already ordered a few bags of en bloc clips.
 
Yep, that's the typical joy of a new garand owner! Congrats to all who snagged one. Warning they are like Lays, you won't stop at one...:D

My M1 just came in and I can't believe the quality through and through. Even the 3 cartouches are perfect. I almost hate to fire this beauty. Almost!
The serial # puts receiver date of manufacture to 1st week November/43.
