is anyone else having trouble calling the 1-800 number? I haven't been able to talk to anyone for 2 weeks. just on hold for 5-10 min and then disconnected! 1 time on hold for 45 min then disconnected.

called and was told the cfo had the file on April 20
no updates since then. is there any way to get in contact with the cfo?

20-May-2022 Received mail stating that my payment was not received. I called same day and CC was charged. (I checked the previous week and wasn't able to view online but now I could view status online.)

20-Jun-2022 Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. Now wait for it in the mail.

CC charged April 6
Called 1-800 number to enquire about status on June 2
Was told - "We're backlogged. Call back in 2 months"

So I guess I'm totally screwed. By then the coalition will push through Bill C-21. Besides, the provincial CFO's are swamped with transfers so they're probably not even processing license applications. What a disaster.

I was told that there are huge backlogs on printing physical card in CFP. I was told to wait a month (July 15th) before calling back to check to see if the license hasn't arrived.

BTW my application was approved on June 14th

Received on 2022-02-03, which was promptly updated with the "We have completed the initial review of your firearms license application. If additional information is required, you will be contacted. Please check the status again at a later date." message and has been saying this same thing for a while.
I emailed CFO-ON last week and they said they don't have it...
I moved recently and was wondering what I do about that? I only moved from my dads place to an apartment so I still have access to the mail there.

Here is my timeline for Ontario, for a new RPAL/PAL application:

- Feb 19th application mailed (using regular mail)
- Feb 25th application received (determined from online status that appeared May 19th)
- May 19th credit card charged and online status appears showing initial review complete
- June 21st online status now shows your license has been issued

Rcmp received application March 23rd 2022, just processed payment today, June 21st, 2022. The wait continues...

This is my timeline for Ontario:

Mailed early January
Received end of January
CC charged early April
Did get ahold of Ontario CFO office last week, says application was received end of May and everything on it is correct. Agent I spoke to says "it's making good time"

Called cfo, received in February, initial review may 6th.
Told me it could take another 8 months, am I missing something here? What the hell is going on.
