Still waiting for the actual card to arrive in the mail. I called yesterday about 20 times using menu option 1-5-1 (missing payment on an application) and menu option 1-5-2 (all other inquiries) and my experiences were:
1) Getting message saying that they are too busy, to call back later and being disconnected
2) Getting message saying that their offices are closed (despite calling in the 9 AM to 5 PM window)
3) Waiting on hold just to be disconnected
4) Waiting on hold to get a message saying my call could not be transferred due to technical difficulties and getting disconnected
I called back today using menu option 1-5-1 again and I got through to someone but they couldn't help me as they can only take payments and process restricted transfers. Before they transferred me, I asked if I get disconnected and need to call back, what menu options I should use to get to the correct queue. The lady said I basically need to use menu options 1 (English) - 1 (Known extension) - 2501 (Licensing inquiries queue extension).
I did the above, did not get any of the annoying messages from yesterday, waited about an hour and spoke to an officer that was able to help me. I was informed that the license was printed and mailed on August 18, 2022 and that I should wait another week or two and call back if the card does not arrive by then.
I asked if they are able to provide me with my actual license # over the phone as I said that I would like to sign up on a waiting list for the range. The officer provided me with the license number over the phone and I was able to sign up for the range waiting list and go shopping online while I wait for the card to arrive. Having the license number also allowed me to login as a license holder on the website.
