I'm about to let the smoke out of my credit cards! ;o)
Updated yesterday Sept 2 to this:
Current status
Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canadian Firearms Program Toll Free number (1-800-731-4000).
CFO for Alberta both are backed logged 3 months as they are just starting on June applications, it took mine a few months as well,
but it is in the mail should have it this week or next as it does nothing at this moment with this import ban but still great to have it.
just be patient and it will be approved i had past criminal charges and i was able to pass, the 2 CFO in Alberta are amazing and understanding they are just overloaded.
anyone know how backed up BC cfo is?
application received: May 3rd
initial review and CC charge: Aug 3rd
still waiting on anything else to happen. wondering if I should spend a day calling or just let er run a bit longer
All provinces are in the same boat from what RCMP Firearms mentioned 6-12 month to process new applications, some are passing quicker than others due to nothing on their records, or health wise,
But it is the 28-day min waiting period before your app is even looked on top of the 3 months back log you have waited on top of, and what is the point of applying for PAL due to no firearms availability, good old JT scum bag,
British Columbia
Application received 4th July 2022
No update after that
Is there anyone else in same timeline ?
There is 3 months worth of applications still waiting for cfo
