Yeah, Rod Giltaca said a friend of his messaged him something similar recently and said the RCMP told him there'd be not much left to buy with an RPAL. Not sure whether that specific RCMP person was mistaken, but C21 ain't nowhere near law yet and it would be really disturbing if the RCMP has received orders already to not issue RPALs/Restricted due to what MAY happen.

I am hoping that's not the reason why cards haven't been sent out as of late, and that it is indeed printer problems.

Would be good to see updates from those who were recently approved (like in the last week or so).

FSESO is still running restricted courses as current as this weekend in Ontario, so I would presume it is business as usual. https://fseso.org/product/canadian-r...-course-crfsc/

I donít know how true that is.
Iím a first-time PAL/RPAL Ontario-based applicant. I mailed in my application on November 1st. According to IWS, it was received on November 4th
My credit card was charged on December 5th
On December 6th, IWS informed me that processing had commenced (Iím paraphrasing)
I checked IWS each day this week.
Just a few minutes ago my IWS status changed. It now informs me that my licence has been approved and I should contact them if itís not received in the next two weeks.
This forum has been a tremendous source of information and support. Thanks, guys!

Wow. That has to be one of the quickest approvals I've heard yet.

Congrats. Now you're like me and just waiting for the card to come in the mail.
