COVID - CFO stopped processing applications while firearms analysts WFH

Jun 19 - $80 fee charged to my credit card and "Your application has completed initial processing. It is now in progress. Please check the status again at a later date." is posted to site

July 1 - "Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canadian Firearms Program Toll Free number. (1-800 731-4000")

Called the Ontario office on Friday and they told me that just completed new applications received from week of March 1st. My app was received on the 26th and was told to follow up in two weeks if it wasn’t in the system by then.

What number did you call Ontario Office? I called them many times but it went straight to voicemail. 705-329-5522 is the number that I called in. Thanks

I called cfo ontario and finally someone answered the phone. She told me that my application is on background check and that is Peels Police doing it. I called the number and extension that she gave me but it always go to voicemail. My application was received on Dec-19-2019 and visa charged on Jan-08-2020.

Does anyone know how long a wait to get into the system it is after your credit card is charged? I have been waiting a couple weeks to see it appear in the system. TIA

Just thought I'd add my personal experience so far.

I sent my application on March 23rd.
Arrived at Miramichi March 26th.
Today July 16 my credit card was charged.
No information yet on the RCMP website.
