This thread was very helpful to manage my expectations, but also to understand how many have been expedited by calling the RCMP and/or CFO when something doesn't seem right. Luckily I haven't needed to make those calls to this point, but the person I took the course with and simultaneously applied with did, as something was a little off. And, same as many here, even though the status was 'completed initial review, if more info required we will contact you', there was in fact more info required and there was no contact. She called at my urging because of what I'd read here.

Anyway, thought I'd add my timeline also:

    May 30 - CFSC taken
    June 17 - Application received
    June 28 - CC charged
July 10-15 - Completed initial review, if more info required.... Hadn't been checking regularly, so don't know exact date
Aug 5 - Application completed, licence issued Haven't got it yet, but only a week

By mid-July, my friend's CC had not been charged, 3 weeks after me with otherwise identical timelines. She called, they couldn't read the CC number so it was being declined. Fixed it immediately and charged that day. How long otherwise? Be the squeaky wheel if something seems off

What's the BC CFO direct number? In am in the same position, it's been sitting in his office now for over a month and a half still waiting. The process started March 12 mind you. Every time I call the CFP number, I get some woman who has no clue and will not give me the number for the BC office. When I call her out on this unreasonable delay in my renewal, she claims it's a lack of resources causing it. She would not transfer me and basically hung up. Bunch of horse crap, the only thing that has changed since my last renewal is my address. So much b.s..

What's the BC CFO phone number??

Found it ,hopefully it's still current: The BC CFO can be reached at 1-800-731-4000, then hit 1, 1 again, and then extension #9530.

Try calling BC CFO 1-800-731-4000, then 1, 1 then extension #9530. Was helpful in my case.
I called 2-3 times from the day it appeared online and was told to call BC CFO.
Finally tried on 11th aug and got approved right away.

Hoping best for you. Hopefully you will have it soon.

That is so fast. Congrats. It took just under four months for CC to be charged and for it to show up online back when my application was submitted in October.
