Have a look at Ruger's site. This 10/22 comes apart into two pieces that stow in a back pack that comes with it. A nice little package!

Thanks to those that explained about the take down. Other than one pink Hogue stocked 10/22 and the couple of takedowns...we are out of 10/22's for the first time since we have been in business. We have every available model of 10/22 on order and expect to see some in the next several weeks. No receivers available. Phil.
