The TNW Firearms Aero Survival Rifle (ASR) is engineered to breakdown efficiently without the use of tools. This unique configuration allows for easy barrel removal and caliber changes. The ASR's compact design allows it to fit in small storage compartments or its specially designed three day pack ("Bug Out" bag). This rifle is an essential piece of equipment for back-packing, boating, camping, back country flying, mountain biking, or hunting. MSRP (9mm & .40): $575.00 MSRP (.45): $595.

Available in black, pink attitude & tiger green.

Calibers: 9mm. .40 & .45

Here is a pretty good video that details the caliber exchange, takedown and other features of the rifle. I would definitely be into one of these if they are non restricted.

It's pretty similar to the sub2k or JRC for what that's worth as long as we can get them in 18.5" barrel length and 26" OAL it should meet the requirements for classification as NR.

Looks like a quality piece of gear. On a sidenote, yes it does resemble the JR carbine. One sees quite frequently WTB adds for it on CGN. But I also notice rarely does a JR owner brag about it's quality or reliability etc.

Nice; but I wouldn't be counting on them being non-restricted.

The JR and Thureon carbines are very similar in concept (except they aren't takedown rifles) and they got NR status no problem. I'm not saying we're 100% guaranteed they won't try the AR variant angle, but I think there is a pretty good chance they could make it in as non-restricteds if they have a long enough barrel.

Now if this come in at a price similar to the MSRP, but in Canada, then I think it might be a winner. The JRC is tempting, but quite frankly, over priced. Shave a couple hundred off that price, and it will get much more interesting.

:agree: My thoughts exactly.
