TNW Aero Survival Rifle

From Shannon @ TNW's Facebook page.
We are looking into supplying them to Canada. TNW currently works with and supplies North Sylva and Centerfire with goods. We will be sending some up for the gun show at the end of the month, and will comply with any restrictions required to sell them up there.

Thanks for the heads up, I'd still be interested to hear from North Sylva what their plan is for this one - ETA, classification etc. I'm assuming from the Facebook post that means we should be able to get this in NR!

Yes. We are in the process of having a sample sent up here for classification.

These will be brought in as a non restricted.

We are hoping to have these Q2 2013.

I would love to know what parts are required for the caliber conversion, aside from the obvious magazines is it just the barrel and bolt? Do you plan on bringing in the caliber conversions in the first order as well? Any idea on the price point for these? Thanks.

The US MSRP (9mm & .40): $575.00 MSRP (.45): $595.

It certainly has potential.

Hmm, if the price point is around that (I mean pretty darn close) then it'll be decent but if it gets the usual "add an arm an a leg cause were in Canada" then not so sure. Fingers crossed though.

MSRP for the TNW Suomi M-31 is 495 USD and Canadian retail is 700 so everything else being equal, I would speculate that Canadian retail should be around the $800.00 mark. I will be on the pre-order list for sure.

Just a guess, but maybe a different recoil spring as well.

I just noticed that the charging handle seems to be on opposite sides of the rifle in each of these videos but it looks like there is only milling on one side of the upper for the charging handle to reciprocate. I wonder if these are maybe just prototypes or if the finished product will have an ambidextrous charging handle. It would be nice if it operates from the left, that was one of my biggest complaints about the ergonomics of the Benelli mr1.

Depends on bolt mass. In the video they state that it's a standard AR-15 buffer.

Probably just a mirror image. Amateur mistake.
