    As long as the belts are cloth and or ww2 there's no limit. I've loaded 250rds for my 1919 and 50 in metal belts for my mg34. Sure get the looks at the range.

    Pretty sure disintegrating links are limited to 5 rds, post ww2 I believe.

    Nope. Metals of all sorts was in short supply in WW2, luckily, cloth belts were used. The cloth belts are generally dated. Metal links came after WW2, and once material supplies stabilized, replaced cloth belts completely.

    I would be in at 4k but not 5.3k
    There's Mil-spec, and then there's Gunnutz-spec.
    One is stringent, the other contains nuts.
