    That was my thinking...orange is reserved for training or safety...toy guns are also marked orange.

    Really useful if you are in the woods or tall grass/ect and drop your gun, since in America you can take handguns nearly anywhere.

    Heck even if you are in a canoe and it sinks a short distance it will stand out as long as bottom isn't all silt/ect.
