Lancaster Pistols

Mr. Wolverine, I hope you don't mind me linking this video, but one of my favourite Youtube channels (Forgotten Weapons) just posted an excellent overview of these three Lancaster pistols. I hadn't known anything about them until now, but I see why you'd be so interested in collecting them.

That is a good video, I will add a couple of points. On the four barrel models there is one rotating firing pin (striker) that is attached to a rotating "hammer" so no chance of recoil causing a multiply discharge, unlike some other Lancaster copies of that time. On the two barrel version there is double striker assemble that rotates 90 degrees counter clock wise and then clock wise, with each pull of the trigger. The striker appears at 12 and 9 o'clock followed by 9 and 6 o'clock, the striker in the 9 o'clock position is clear of the cartridge and is in fact "spare". This is an ingenious way of limiting the striker rotation to 90 degrees yet achieve a 180 degree change in position. There is no means of barrel selection in either the two or four barrel model.
