I have ocd and cant mentally bring myself to shoot many of my rifles. Im afraid to mark them up.
I treat guns like my car. Reg maintenance/oil changes and all that but it gets driven. Most of the joy of owning something fun is being able to use it. Unless using it will great depreciate it I don't think I could resist the occasional sunday cruise at the range.
