how are AR stocks so expensive?
how are AR stocks so expensive?
The first principle is that you must not fool yourself and you are the easiest person to fool.

From NEA's website it includes the following:
Stock Assembly,
Return/buffer system (5.56mm/.223 cal)
Modified bolt carrier.
Does NOT include bolt, firing pin, cam pin or firing pin retaining pin.
So part of the cost is the bolt carrier and buffer system.

If you have an AR lower just measure the width of the receiver and see if the cz is slimmer. Also, have to watch out for the stock hitting the safety on the cz. I have a preorder in for one and I have an FSN. I can check when it comes in.
VZ is approx 1.2" wide, AR is about .875". VZ may be too wide. We'll see when the stock gets here.
