Now sitting on the floor at TSE. About 15 crates available: TWO spam cans, each containing 800rds. Outside of crate labelled as "CJ-5-09". No one could provide headstamp info but it's likely 93/94/95 vintage. Their website only lists the yellow box Norinco @ $559 (none of which is displayed): http://theshootingedge.com/store/ind...oducts_id=1963 .

With tax, that works out to about 27 cents a round.

We are receiving pallets of guns and ammo every day right now! The website is also being constantly updated with new ammo and firearms. By the end of this week, it will be all on there.

In the meantime, we are putting as much product on the floor for our customers to buy. The facebook page has been constantly updated this week as well to let everyone know that we are loaded to the brim with the good stuff.

Did I mention that a 1600rd crate at that price locally is a very good deal?!

Cash and carry is almost always cheaper as it is easier on the store staff.

And benefit 12,789 of being in Alberta.

Thanks for that info! I'm keeping mine stored as is so couldn't peek inside.

Different beasts: the $560 stuff is yellow box; the $420 stuff is spam canned. However, when I pointed out the difference and asked a staff member why two lots of Norinco were priced so far apart, he gave a straightforward answer: They mark up the items by similar amounts but the yellow box cost them more waaaaay back whenever they bought it. If you've been following Norinco prices lately, the crates have actually dropped (remarkably) to about $425 to $450 each. I doubt they'll go much lower than $400 so now's the time to "Buy it cheap and stack it deep!"

You're just averaging down from your buy at Things Military last week.
