Repond? Loosen the front sight screw, center and than tighten screw.
It is not worth bothering about since the barrel is slightly under indexed, it would be more of a problem if it was the other way (i.e over indexed). This seems to be the norm with most recent shorties I have seen, I believe this was also quite normal with national match m14's from what I have read.
What's with the kitchen gloves?
Cosmoline?
From the pic that sight appears damaged. The left ear is almost vertical while the right ear appears normal. You could try bending the left ear back but as it looks like a factory defect I would ask for a replacement rather than fiddle around with it.
Replacing some parts seems to be the norm when buying a Norinco. I'd say that mine has only about 50% of the original Chinese parts left on it. Curious to see if they actually stock parts, or if you have to go to the trouble of shipping the whole thing back.
Where do u get original m14 parts : eg front sight?
Must be costy
