Aftermarket GSG 1911-22 parts

Seems to be a common defect with this gun -- same thing happened to me. Fortunately, the store I bought it in fixed it.

Do you know what they did to yours? I un-jammed mine after that first incident and it never did it again.

Not sure exactly but they definitely filed some burs off the end of the guide rod and may have changed out the spring.
The original spring was non-tapered but the current one seems to be tapered.

Does the ZRTS have a kit like the CW kit that gets rid of the barrel allen screw?

Any kit that tightens up the tolerances of the barrel and bushing will eliminate the hex screw, so yes if you get the ZRTS barrel bushing and Slide allignment cone you will effectively eliminate the need for the hex screw (get the one piece guide rod and new recoil spring as well). Dlask has the competition rear sights and fiber optic front sights for the GSG 1911-22 fyi if anyone is looking

I'm meeting with a cnc guy next week to see what it will cost to have some aluminum mag bases made....will keep everyone posted in the regular forums.

Things are looking very good. Was speaking with ZRTS yesterday and all of the paperwork is completed and they should be shipping early next week to us.

Thats great news. Did you order the cone and bushing to be machined as a pair or the looser fitting individual pieces? Either way I'll have my order in as soon as you post hopefully I can beat everybody else.

Is there any details on what the first shipment will have? Definitely interested in the deluxe enhancement package and a barrel bushing.
