i thought you didnt need these on the new mini's since the barrels where thicker and tapered?

Apparently they reduce barrel vibration in the heavy barreled Mini 14's however to a much lesser extent than in the skinny barrels. It is in the description of the accustrut on the site.Originally Posted by wayupnorth
You dont need them on the heavy barrel Target models, but the others do benefit.
