I will buy one of these yesterday if nr and close to U.S. msrp. Sure i would prefer bolt hold open but it's not a competition rifle. The one thing I would really like is the ability to put on ar fore ends. I don't care for the one it has and it will look worse with an 18.5" barrel.

It's all preference. I look at guns differently than most. As a sporting gun it's fine.

It comes down to training and intended use. I can count to 5 or 10 too but IF the gun were to ever fill a more defensive roll ( insert favorite shtf fantasy here ) I prefer a slide locked to the rear then a click on an empty chamber. I also feel that a rifle with lrbho make identifying failures/malfunctions much easier.

Every person has different intentions for their rifles. I like everything else. Just not interested without the lrbho.

I really wish we would slip into a zombie apocalypse... World would be SO much simpler!

Just my opinion folks. Not telling anyone else not to buy one.

I've been watching this rifle in hopes that the maker would add this feature, they haven't. It's ok. Just not for me.

I have ar's to fill that role. This would basically be a truck gun.

Thanks for the video link. I like the "how its made" videos.
One thing I noticed was there are a lot of small screws. I hope they stay put.

I have heard that MP has not built a Canadian version yet. Once they do, it will be submitted to the RCMP for FRT approval.
So we are probably 12 to 18 months away from seeing them here.

X 3 well unless it shoots really well.
Service Rifle has been shot in Canada since 1864.
The DCRA is the oldest sporting organization in Canada.

Assuming you still have your ARs and that the RCMP arn't confiscating all the restricted guns, since they'll know exactly where to find them and their owners.
Doesn't matter, anymore. We're only good for filling sandbags for floods and saving people during winter storms. Other-wise we're kicking posts and crazies who are over worked, over taxed, underpaid and never truly appreciated.

Forgive my ignorance, but if the MPAR 556 does make it into Canada as a non restricted, would we then purchase it directly from Blue Line?
