I'm looking for a 6-port muzzle break, grooved/railed receiver, with a non-pitted bore to put together an SVT-40 Sniper. Already got a scope mount and SVT 38/40 PU scope (these are smaller than the Nagant PU scopes). Doesn't need the notch/dimple since I'm just gonna secure the scope mount with Loctite 243.

    Thanks.

Got a reply from Brent @ Wolverine. He says that the SVT-40's he's seen cleaned up all had very good bores, some a little hazy but with sharp rifiling.

My order is submitted, will take some unboxing pictures when she shows up

Tis true the ones I have seen have had good to very good bores, but remember these are 70 year old battle rifles and some rough ones might have sneaked through into the batch. A rough bore doesn't always mean a bad shooter though.

No, I have one or two SVT's that are a little rough but are still dead on accurate

Received mine but I just wasn't to crazy about the bore so I called and swung a deal for a hand select mint bore. I love it when you can work with a dealer on these matters. I will always deal with wolverine because of reasons like this. Thank You Wolverine for your outstanding customer service.
