I saved a $100 rail by drilling thru the steel propietary chinese mount and successfully installed and zeroed a 3x ACOG TA33G with the help of Mr JB Weld and Red Loctite. Eye relief and head position is excellent!

If that flat top becomes available, I wont have much reason not to buy one! That's the only thing really holding me back right now.................. and the mag release is in a weird spot, but I can live with that.

does anyone try scope with INTEGRATED MOUNT (AR-15/M16 CARRY HANDLE) like for instance NcStar SECRRAQ430R?
i would personally just be happy with somebody coming up with a copy of the way the chinese optic mounts, even better if it is just a set of rings that I can put any scope into

X2 It is a copy of a in service front line PLA rifle made for the canadian market. That is what I want. I don't want to Americanize the rifle??? I would like the same optic and mounting system that 2.25 million PLA soldiers use. And yes they all aren't issued the QBZ-95's !
I agree i want a true pla looking rifle with true optics!
Chicom optics for it would be great, I've been scrouging around looking for some.
