T97 vs Tavor is like a Norc AR vs Noveske kinda silly.
Well said , maybe we should be comparing apples to apples here. The tavor is more comparable to the FN bullpup, not the cheap Chinese version

After having had a really good strip down and look at the T97 I suspect that it might be more reliable that most would give it credit for. I wouldn't dought that one could shoot more rounds in a row without stopage than an AR15 or similar rifle.

We've moved quite a few of the T97 now, and have only heard good things about it!

Furthermore, getting the gun with a crate of ammo for just about $1500 definitely has its appeal!

The guy that has a T97 and has shot most of a crate through it is likely going to out shoot the Tavor owner that can't afford ammo

If you can afford to spend 3000$ on the gun , you can afford ammo.

    But it's a gun + 4800 rounds of ammo versus a gun.

Well the one that does not spew hot gasses underneath your shooting glasses gets my vote.

    What a poor design flaw.
You know you are a real gunnut when you start practicing trigger control on power tools.

Guns are not cheap toys, if you are buying a t97 it's because you might not be able to afford a tavor or fn and the anmo. If the price was NOT an issue how many people would still take the t97?

I bought the T97 in spite of already having the Tavor, FN & Keltec. It's a great rifle - I love shooting mine.
