My 597 works flawless with mini mags in the 30 round mags. I did recently see a site sponsor with the drum mag but I cant reemember which one, I'll repost if I can find it.

My 597 had some troubles, and the 30 rnd stick Remington mags I got had major troubles until I straightened them out, now they're just somewhat bad.
