Why does Westrifle require DOB and City of birth for standard purchases?

Could you please tell me why you require DOB and city of birth for non-gun related purchases on the website?

If you buying firearms I need to verify that you have PAL number. To verify your PAL I need a picture of it or PAL number and DOB. It is simply to check that you have it and it is valid

What is your order number? Send me an email it is somekind of confusion. If you are buying magazines, ammunition or firearms then yes. If you are buying sling or scope then I do not ask for it. Email me at master@westrifle.com

sidekick1 are you nuts? We require by law to make sure that you have PAL in order to buy a firearm or ammunition. If you do not like it contact your Liberal MP

I understand for ammunition/firearms, but i dont believe mags or stocks or anything like that require a PAL to purchase.
