Hey. I live in Saskatoon, but am going to school in Moose Jaw.
Anybody know where and when I could take my Hunter safety/PAL course around Moose Jaw/Regina?
Really anxious to get a gun and start practicing for next season.
If not, I have to wait until April to take it in Saskatoon....
Going to take my Hunter Safety and PAL when I can find out when, where and how Then get a gun

The Moose Jaw club puts them on from time to time. That's where I got my instructor training. Contact Harry Horejda.

Today and tomorrow (October 23 & 24) there is a gun show at White City, just outside of Regina.

From a list I remember seeing Swift Current is having a gun show in December, and Regina has one around January.

If you google "Gun Show" and "Saskatchewan" you should be able to find some more dates.

You might also want to consider taking the courses online.

No the online couse will only get you the Sask hunter ed cert. You will still have to find some one and challange the nonrestricted. But after the online portion S.A.F.E. will get you in contact with a hunter ed instructor for testing and that same person should be able administer the challange.
