Their are plenty of grouse north of the city. Get away for a weekend and head north to places like Sudbury, Timmins. North Bay areas. Contact a lodge to see what they have.

Crown land is partially affected although it does not specifically mention hunting "No Camping"

The Ford government is extending Ontario’s emergency declaration until at least April 23, and adding several new measures to ban camping on Crown land and make it easier for hospitals to surge capacity.

...the province has banned camping on Crown land retroactive to April 9.

I have no firearms right now, but planning to buy a 92FS. Maybe a rifle later (if wife approves the budget;-))

Anyone near Ottawa who wants to give some advices on the clubs or ranges near Ottawa?

    Thanks
I'm in Ottawa, if you have any questions send me a PM and we can see from there how I can help you.
    Cheers!

If you live in Ottawa area and are interested in this sport but don't know where to start, I would like to help. I can take you to the range on weekends and try some shooting. The only thing I need from you is compliance to all laws, regulations and safety rules.
You need to get yourself hearing and eye protections.

Send me PM and we can work out the time. Thanks.
    Hi,
I'm experienced to the sport but fairly new to the area. I'm looking for buddies to go to the range with. I sent you a PM.

If anyone from the Ottawa area would be willing to take me to their club as a guest or to come to EOSC as my guest and show me their handguns i'd really appreciate it.

I'd be willing to drive out 1.5h in any direction and would pay for the ammo for the day.

    Thanks
    Hi,
This post is old, but I'm also a member at EOSC. If you're interested in a buddy to go shooting with, send me a PM.
    Cheers!
