    I thought I read somewhere that the restricted rifles ship out in a plastic case? I'm I wrong? Just want to confirm before my order comes in.

    Verdict? most of my AR experience has been with a friends DD, I will say the DD is npticably nicer in terms of fit and finish, no bin marks and perfect machining, but you do pay a heck of a lot more for it. In terms of function? Both will work just as well. I will say this though, the colt feels like a "to hell and back" AR, the DD is so nice it makes me feel like its more of a safe queen or range toy.... Even though all AR's are range toys in Canada.

    Nope, depends on the manufacturer. All the Colts I have seen come in a cardboard box--most Sig rifles as well. Daniel Defense still comes in a plastic case.

    Does the 6945 upper come with the MaTech BUIS?

    No they come with the magpul MBUIS rear sight. Colt has been cutting costs with the accessories.
