lower in price and weight would be awesome! The Citori 7 lbs 3 oz and the 525 supposed to come in at 6 lbs 11 oz.

What is the general opinion on the alloy receiver? Any worries about longevity? What is the alloy? is it aluminum?

Should be fine. They have steel breech face inserts. Some reports of these inserts coming loose on a run of early 12 g feather models but have not heard of issues with 20s and 16s or any structural concerns.
