Millions of people carry balances of $thousands at double digit interest rates. The cost of fraud is built in to the cc companies business model, and they can afford it.
The fact the cc companies don't shut down transactions with businesses that have continuous issues tells us all we need to know. If cc companies dropped every retailer that had fraud related issues it would cut into their profitability. It's a cost of doing business that the consumer pays for in the end. I have seen estimates that the cost of cc fraud raises retail prices in the range by 10-15%.
Does anyone know when the last documented credit card fraud was ?
I'd like to shop there again if the issue is resolved .

Relax people. Credit cards reimburse you and ship you a new card when it comes to fraud. So many companies get hit by credit card fraud. Let's put the pitch forks down.
