    I've actually been to one of those and can honestly say it was what got me interested in the sport! It's a great event and perfect to introduce women to shooting sports. There's so many misconceptions about firearms that need to be debunked and a whole population of women that need to be shown that it's both a really FUN and really SAFE sport.

    Well then, mark your calendar once again. April 27th, we have a "milsurp shoot" coming. Guests are welcome. Watch for a thread coming up soon in the "Gathering and Events" section.

    There in lies the challenge. Women shooters need to start speaking up about their sport and work towards dispelling the "guns are bad" stigma that plagues are sport. Most Canadians believe that gun owners are mostly men whom are gun totin' right wing rednecks.
