Includes adjustable set of our Shockeze Trauma pads. This material has a recovery rate of over 98% after long-term compression and is capable of absorbing thermal energy up to 50 degrees Celsius without causing irreversible deformation, it can also be washed and air dried for repeated use.

Ballistic helmets cannot be used as Motorcycle helmets as they are different safety products. Both product have a distinct purpose and end use, its design to its testing are very different.

The helmet was tested to NIJ, but is it certified to NIJ?

The helmets are not NIJ certified, the NIJ does not certify helmets. HTTI takes great pride in every step of the process, from research and development to manufacturing. We rigorously test our helmets inhouse and also send samples to NIJ certified labs, requesting higher then norm threat levels for BFD recordings. The results surpass helmets charged at much higher premium that often have no accompanying NIJ lab report, incomplete/non-original report, or just 1 sample report shown (usually against 9mm). We also developed and manufactured or own trauma pad (Shockeze) for the helmets' inner padding to meet our strict criteria, including considerations for the ease of daily and long term use for the user (such as being machine washable), that many of our clients have given us excellent feedback on. We do plan to extend our reach in the future to allow more people to see and handle our products in person.

Can you explain why they are not NIJ certified? Why not get one anyway and still show tests that it surpasses NIJ certification
