    Are you making them "factory" size or can you create batches of over-sized pins to take out some of the slop between upper and lowers (Note - on my earlier version I could only remove some of the play due to the size difference between upper and lower pivot pin hole sizes).
    Would have had to ream both holes (destroying the factory finish) in order to remove all the slop.

    I highly doubt these replacement pins will be oversized. You did a good job within your own question answering as to why that would be.
