    Leupold Freedom Rimfire scope changes

It appears that Leupold is no longer selling rimfire scopes in the Freedom range, since on the web site they are listed as no longer for sale i.e 2-7x33mm and 3-9x40mm rimfire scopes

That's too bad, I love the 2-7x33 Freedom Rimfire, really clear, bright and really lightweight while still feeling really solid. Got a couple and was going to buy a third, but sold out at my LGS.

The VX-Freedom EFR 3-9x33 seems to be the only one now available in the VX-Freedom range that is suitable for a rimfire rifle

The VX-Freedom EFR is still available. Leupold is shaking up their product offerings a bit, so we'll see a few changes in the near future.

We have sold many of the standard 2-7 and 3-9 optics to dealers across the country this year. Product will still be on retail shelves for the next while.

    Happy New Year Korth!

Any idea when the Freedom Rimfire line might be available again?
They may have been plentiful in June, but I'm unable to locate any of the 174179 or 174181 models in Canada now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I googled that first part number ‘Leupold 174179 Canada’ and found what looks to be in stock on the 8th link down in Alberta...?

    From the Leupold website:
“Leupold riflescopes are all designed, machined, and assembled in our Beaverton Oregon manufacturing facility. We do not have any other riflescope manufacturing facilities or offices anywhere in the world. So if you come across a Leupold riflescope being shipped into the United States from China, it is a very likely a counterfeit.”

    174177 VX-Freedom 1.5-4x20 (1 inch) Pig-Plex
    175074 VX-Freedom 1.5-4x28 (1 inch) IER Scout Duplex

This is absolutely untrue. All Leupold optics that mount to a firearm are built in Beaverton, Oregon.

So they’ve discontinued the entire VX Freedom AR line.
Is there going to be a replacement for these?
