Are the osprey vests only available in XL? Will they fit in most other carriers?

If plate carrier for full cut, 10*12 I'd think so but doesn't fit mine in shooters cut

Check out the condor compact carrier, about $45 so nice cheap carrier to keep the whole package low cost.

Zip disk might not go through ceramic if it's in there. If they are in fact poly it would probably work.

Not sure, the guy in that video posted cut one and than put some kind of tape around edges. I'm might cut shoulders out of one of my plates and shoot it to see how it holds up. Lol

Surplus ceramic* plates....appear to be 20+ years old...cut with a zip disc...taped edges. What could possibly go wrong

*may or may not contain any actual ceramic material
