    Great write up Paul!
What is the twist rate on these? I presume not too fast so you can utilize the 55 gr bullets?

Try shooting with your bipod in "neutral". No load.

1:8 for the 180. My Daniel Defense M4V5 AR is 1:7 and I'm getting much better groups with same ammo in the DD, but it is a 2000 plus rifle these days....

I have been sitting on the fence for one of these and waiting to hear peoples thoughts and experiences... Great honest no BS review. Would you happen to have some 60 or 62 grain projectiles sitting around? Try a slightly longer/heavier round. Maybe groups would shrink given the twist? Looking forward to your next review. Thank you.

Unfortunately I have about 3500 AE55's here and probably 2000 x 55gr projectiles for reloading.

I'll grab a couple of single boxes of factory ammo in different weights to shoot first and if I see things tighten up with higher weight then I'll get some different projectiles to load with.

Grabbed 40 x Federal (AE) 62 grain at Cambodian Tire today. Hopefully test them tomorrow.

For just plinking or whacking gongs the AE ammo is fine. I had no problem hitting my coyote gong at 300 yards with the 55gr FMJ AE the other night.
