I was told in a recent email that the rest of the proof barrels were coming mid to late January, and rifles would be done shortly after, if that helps anyone else who is curious. Patience is a virtue, i know if i was dealing with this level of cross border bureaucracy id be smashing computers.

So many beautiful rifles in this thread!

Can anyone share any feedback about the Varmint's trigger?

It's listed as a "True Match grade"; are these the same triggers as the MH? (single stage, <4.5 lbs)
ATRS, given the proprietary design involved here, is it fair to say (and this is not a mark against the rifle!) that there won't be any other trigger options in the future?
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem.

The triggers are Timney single pin drop in AR style. 4.5# on the MH and 3.5# on the MV.

The Modern Hunters employ a 4 lb single stage Timney trigger, the Modern Varmints employ a 3 lb single stage Timney trigger. Both have no creep and very smooth let off unlike the standard triggers in milspec style ARs.
Timney now offers a 2 stage AR style trigger so this is now an option for those who prefer the 2 stage style triggers.

Due to the rifles design there is no other trigger that will work, without significant modification and the making of some parts. Neither of which we intend to do.

Oh Nice! This was the only other trigger option I was dreaming of; 2x stage! No other trigger option necessary.
My poor ACR money pit may not be long in my locker, thanks ATR!

Yes. Mine has been done since early December, ordered in May, so second batch. Due to some PAL issues I just received it though. Going to take my first shot this afternoon
