Got the scope mounted on mine. Heads up to anyone putting a 40mm objective on it, online it says that a medium height ring will work... But it won't!

You need to get a high ring to clear the rear sights.

Very happy with the rifle/scope purchase from Easthill, thanks again guys!

    Cheers

Just knock the rear sight out, better than too high a mount. I missed this deal, just saw it on the front CGN page :-(

It's not mounted too high with the high rings. Notice the 40mm bell is only 1/4 of an inch from touching the barrel. Problem with drifting the rear sight out is losing it!

Hey EastHill, I finally got to the range with my rifle. No issues feeding any ammo, and I tried 3... CCI 40 grain Hollowpoints, Winchester 40 Grain Hollowpoints & CCI Gamepoint a jacketed soft point.

It shot 40 grain CCI Gamepoint the best.

VERY happy with it! Thanks again for the deal.

    Cheers

I'm going to guess the front sight isn't bent but rather the rear sight dovetail is machined off center making the front look off. I have read and heard of another having the same issue.
