    Ever heard of the 110gr v-max?

    Works wonders on groundhogs, raccoon and coyotes. Some varmints are a little tougher than a regular ol' prairie dog.... just sayin'

    Pretty much the nicest rifles Savage ever made IMO. If you get a chance to fondle one, the difference between these and the model 10 and international hunting rifles is pretty obvious, especially the stock. They come in more varmint appropriate chambetings but they’ve always been kinda thin on the ground up here.

    I never tried the lighter varmint bullets but mine really likes the 175gn Scenars. Will even throw a 185gn Juggernaut but best accuracy is in the lower node so I don’t do it often.
