The reference for SMLE accuracy should have to be over their proper iron sights. "T" model scoped sniper rifles were very much the exception back then.

Modern rifles claiming 1 MOA may in part be counting on decent glass as part of what gets them there.

Another thing to remember is a lot of people can not master the enfield trigger. I had lots of trigger time as a cadet and mastered it they may not be total tac drivers but they will shoot with the rite person behind the rifle

Any chance these kits are good for .45 super, .450 SMC, or .45-08?
Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary.

The barrels are chambered for .45acp, and the kits uses 1911 .45 mags...If those are a different length, guessing there might be issues.

Those are all modified .45 ACP cartridges. They have the same outside dimensions, and will feed from 1911 mags and chamber in .45 acp chambers. The brass is thicker to withstand higher pressures, so you can get more velocity out of regular .45 ACP projectiles. It's an easy way to hotrod a 1911, or in this case, hopefully, an Enfield.

Can the magazine adapter be modified or redesigned to take alternate brands of magazines? Glock mags for example?

Rhineland and Special Interest Arms have been making these kits for a long time, and they've never gone beyond Enfield and Mauser with 1911 mags. That's what works and sells well for them.

I don't believe Glock mags would work, they're significantly thicker than the original magazine well.
