    Yea the laws are strange, and their interpretation tends to be stranger. If it was designed to be 25" it wouldn't be a problem but because it can go back and forth it's kind of a grey area the RCMP say is a no go for everything I have seen.

    Theres an extremely easy solution to all this and thats to put a 2 inch muzzle device on these before theyre shipped to us. Doesnt count towards barrel length but DOES count towards overall length as per our ridiculous gun laws. Problem solved.

    Dont they have to weld or pin it on to make it legal?

    I'm not sure, that's why I asked. My thought behind it was if you can simply unscrew the muzzle brake it makes it restricted. to me its the same as saying I won't fold the stock. ??

    one can shoot many NR firearms with stocks removed, reducing overall length to R status. Do the laws make sense? nope
