    Mine is on the way. Once it arrives it goes straight to my gunsmith. I know my limitations. I have a tapco stock on my SKS which will need to be modified which should not be a problem for him. I'll post the finished project in a couple of weeks. Looks like a winner to me. I would have preferred a conversion kit for a CZ 858 to make the cost a bit closer to the price of a rifle but it is what it is, Either the SKS is under priced ot the CZ is over priced.

    Do you think it's possible to do the modification with a drill press and a small milling table?

    Yes. Obviously better tools will be faster and cleaner but a drill press with a milling table isn't bad.
    I do believe you need to consider carefully what bit to use in the drill press so l will see if I can get some decent advice on that for you.
