The design is vastly different from an AR15 lower, and the amount of material is... substantial. It probably weighs 10x what a stripped AR15 lower weighs. Along with the other comments regarding the modification of the upper.

I'm interested, wondering what a rough cost estimate may be?

yeah, there is no comparison to the ATRS lower and an AR15 lower. The ability to use a readily available AR15 lower is a great feature, gets you up and running for a reasonable cost, but everything about using the ATRS is vastly superior. It's very robust.

I 100% recommend the ATRS lower modification for this rifle. I'm well past 3500 rounds with mine and it's still working well.

We are trying to convince them to work this way.
An alternative is for you guys to order a number of uppers, modify them and make lowers, then sell complete rifles. I think more people can be convinced to throw 3000+ dollars into a rifle will feel more secure if they receive an actual rifle tested by you than a bunch of parts, especially considering how remington shat the bed last time with the barrels.

    Maybe call it the Modern-BoomBoom?

If you purchase a DA 50 and want the ATRS lower which is a superior lower for this application, consider having CA send to ATRS directly. Will save shipping costs at least one way. These rifles cost a lot to ship.

Any chance for other calibre? A-T rounds or other larger bore calibre?
