‘More bang for the buck’ handguns

Was just wondering what do you guys think are the best value guns; basically decent guns for ‘little’ money?

I’d have to go with Taurus, esp if you buy at SIR; most of their guns about $100-200 less than at any other gun store. Taurus PT99/101 is only about $640 for stainless (about $800 at other stores). Same with their revolvers.

Also IMO Norincos are pretty good too (for the price of course). I know that in the US (if you'll find one) they go for about $275 (pretty much the same they cost here) while most other guns are at least 25% more :(

At $799.99 these days for a Brand New Glock.............. you'd be hard pressed to find a better "Bang for the Buck"

CZ 75B at $605 Wolverine dollars. Definitely the best value for money in a centre-fire semi-auto, in my opinion.

+1. Definately best bang for the buck, except I think this is not including tax. gunsnthings has it for 629 tax in.

Every gun can be the best bang for the buck depends on how often you use it. Anyhow if you are lucky enough to buy a good Norinco 1911, that is the best bang for the buck. If a normal no luck people like me, then CZ is the best value if you get it from GxxNthinxs.

there's an used italian 92F at p&d with 2 mags and threaded match barrel which i thought was pretty good (i had to buy the 92G-SD, it was so freaking awesome)

Well, I shoot a Glock, and I enjoy the #### out of it, but Glocks are terribly overpriced. They should be about $500 Canadian, which would still represent about a 400% profit for Gaston.

They are such a good design that they are the cheapest to build, too.

No, their not perfect, but they are really good!

I agree Glock is good gun but in the States they go for $450 (or maybe even less) :(

Are you trying to make threads to see if anyone will love a beretta as much as you?
yes that's exactly what I'm doing; that's why I voted for Taurus & Norinco

Well alot of Taurus guns do look like Beretta knock off's:p

Makarov if you like the caliber.. Cheap to buy, built like a truck (Russian). Plenty of parts availability if needed.

Bersa if you are allowed them in Kanada. Bersa Thunder 9 (Ultra Compact) with 13rd factory mag. would be great.

There are still tremendous numbers of "used" revolvers on the market at a reasonable price. The the semi-auto's became popular everyone traded in their perfectly good revolvers.. Getcha' one.

Best Wishes
JP
