0.010” shooting patches?

One of the muzzleloaders likes the 0.015” patches. The other one can’t be loaded with them.
What is the solution? Going to .490” balls or finding some 0.010 or thinner patches? And if so, where could those be located ?

Since .010" is getting a little thin for a rifled barrel, going to a .490 ball would likely be best. Alternately, grab your calipers and head to the local fabric store. You need 100% cotton and a tight weave.

Easy to make from old, well washed cotton t- shirt material - they are usually 9 to 11 thou thickness.
