I will do 100 to 300m shooting with .223. I would like to know witch one I need to have, I maybe planning in the future to go to 500-600m, but my range is not that far. It's not a matter of prise, but just buying the right stuff for the right game....

thanks

Yep. for these distances 0moa. I use a 20moa on my .223 and it allows me to get to 1400 meters but my zero is at 200 yards...

 Let me get this straight, ok? You're claiming your're shooting .223 at 1,400 meters? .223 even with the best bullets are barely able to make the 1,000 yard line, let alone 1,400 meters. How are you achieving this with any degree of accuracy?

You're only using a 20 moa base? What scope are you using? Are you holding over using clouds in the sky?

+1... even with a 308 you are way beyond your limit at that range.

well if both base's are the same price,go with the 20MOA just in case you get a chance to get out far

I'm sure we could all hit the side of a mountain. Do we call that m.o.m. Minute of mountain?

"You're only using a 20 moa base? What scope are you using? Are you holding over using clouds in the sky?" Answer to the above question: I use a Bushnell Elite 4200 6X24X40 in Burris rings. And it was a pretty cloudless day...

I was hitting a target the size of a 2 liter pop bottle at 1k and a 4 ft by 4ft boulder at 1400 meters. With alarming regularity... you don't believe me, just come and shoot in Summerland next spring. There were lot's of CGN'rs there and we had a lot of fun! :)

I wanted to go for a mile but ran out of elevation, maybe next year I'll have a 30mm tubed scope and enough minutes for the mile. I'm sure the rifle and bullet can make it!

.223 with 75 grain Amax bullets at 2970fps.
