Good luck lads!

We just shot the LFAA SAC last weekend up in Debert (my first time shooting there!) and though I placed first, I wasn't the winner.

Pulled in a 328 on M1-M7, with a non-scoring hit in the 300m rapid as my only "miss".

2nd place was the son of the QM7, and 3rd place was the QM5 at 325, and 323 respectively.

Rainy, almost Bisly-ish weather to start Saturday, with the day staying generally cool, but some sun showing up late in the afternoon.

Good fun!

Good luck to you guys!

Will be there.
I will bring a bucket of sunshine, anyone else packing some bleu skies and heat??

I will be arriving ~0000 hours on friday, so no point in hitting the sack too early cus I will be doing a fire drill when I arrive :D

I'm packed up right now/tonight. The excitement winds up. We are going to have a great match! :D See you all in the tent lines tomorrow evening!

I guess some admin coordination will be required next time, cus nobody brought bleu skies or heat, and the bucket of sunshine I brought must have reached it's expiry date cus it was stale :D

Lot's of fun tho, the weather gave some interesting challenges.
Everybody played a great game.
I was very impressed with all the civvy guns and gear, lots of high end stuff came out to play; Noveske & KAC guns, Bushmaster, Armalite, Colt, Stag, Leupold, Aimpoint, Acogs, Specter, Elcan (original issue)...& more, Magpul galore, rails & accessories of all kinds. An AR180B was also part of the mix with a Bushnell holosight. One shooter had even used a VZ or CZ rifle at a training match in Borden (open sights), one shooter this weekend was shooting with open sights also on an AR-15.
Also lots of 'high' class people showed up, it was a great bunch.
Once again a great match with great smoothness and fun.

It was a great opportunuity to try out some of those "bang sticks" and knockoff FakeCog (you know who you are :D).

Guns and gear got wet, but it all dries and they still work great after.
Heck, on saturday water was draining out of my gun when shook around.
(best way to describe it: set your gun on the porch and take a garden hose to it for a few minutes ). But I will be damned, it still worked after that.

Thanks for another great match. ;)
Folks you need to get out and play :p

Hey, the FAKog worked really well. I miss my turet windage/elevation adjustable Merlin and I won't be shooting too many CQB carbine matches to that wonderful FAKacog will be surplus to my needs. I've had nothing but great memories with it.

Hey ! What a great match. I never knew that those Noveske upper/barrel/units could shoot so well, I just thought that they were for looking good in my full size mirror ;)

Many high zoot, railed accesorized carbines that shot very well. Didn't I see a few people with weapon lights? That sure was kool! :D

Yes, the rain is/was good. A perfect opportunity to tweak what works and discover what does not work well under adverse conditions. It's all good.

We have many more Service Rifle matches (3 to be exact) for the remainder of May and June, leading up to the CFSAC and NSCC national events!

And yes, your blinged up AR does shoot well at 500meters. You will be surprised... where's Alex92? He kicked my butt during that windy Match 12 rundown!

Big thanks to the organizers and mil facilitators like DA and WCF from Ottawa, and we can't forget Timk. It was great to meet GH from Pet and Kako911 from QC. :D

More to come.... Gotta grab some breakfast before heading to work. It's all good!

Thanks to TimK and Hungry for allowing me to give a hand at this shoot, could not make the saturday morning.

Sunday morning, Windy and cold but I learn a little bit about the Service Rifle Shoots, Need to learn alot more.

TimK, no more run downs from the 500 for me, my knees are killing me this morning......

Again Thank for a fun day, nice meeting those whom participated the this event.

P.S. greentips, I brought Sheila (M305) to the range but she is currently not ready for the 500m + ranges yet, I need to make sure that the repairs I made to the front sight are right (filled down), maybe next time.

;)

Thanks Hungry and Tim for a great shoot, I had a hoot ,brought back some memories ,both good and bad. Too bad I couldn't finish the shoot (my damn back still hurts) but still had fun and met some great folks.
I found my new scope worked as advertised and my kneeling position hurts more than it ever did, so time for more practice.
Hope to see you folks in future matches.
