1-8 twist 270 wsm

Just wondering if any one is using the 170 gr Berger EOL in a fast twist 270 wsm and what powder.

Perfect twist for that bullet weight. I don't own one, but being old and set in my ways, I would suggest IMR 4895. I would start at 41 or 42 gr and work my way up.

IMR 4895 is a horrible choice for a 270 WSM with heavy bullets

Look at 6.8 Western data and work up from there. H1000, Retumbo, RL26, IMR 7828ssc, Magpro, Viht N565, 568 is where you want to focus
