1 and 4 lbs Powder Containers

Does any one have a source for empty plastic 1lbs and/or 4lbs powder containers? I am looking to transfer from the plastic bags that Higginson sent out (great service - by the way). Preferably in the Calgary area. Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

hit the dollar store and pick up some of those one liter drink containers with the screw on lid...

Go to the pharmacy. They always have large clean empty pill bottles, and they even have new ones. I've asked a couple times, and as long as you ask nice they give some out.

if 8lb jugs would work I have several, I may have some 1 lbers as well call me at the shop to arrange pick up

I've gone to using plastic Tide laundry soap containers. Sturdy, readily available and the smaller ones can be used for smaller quantities. In addition, they're easy to pour out of and back into plus they're of a shape that stores easily.

Bleach bottles, Milk Jugs, Coffe Cans have used them all even quart jars.

I have been using the muscle suppliment containers; I know a couple people that use the stuff and they work great for storring powder, casr bullets, brass, etc.

I use the 2 litre juice jugs. They hold about 4 pounds.
