Hi Gunnutz.
I sent my PAL application away in the mail today and can't wait to get started. I've been shooting a bit with my brother-in-law, but I'm otherwise new to the whole scene. My motivation to get a PAL was a combination of my bro's enthusiasm, a general disdain for increasingly oppressive gun ownership laws, and an imminent inheritance of some firearms from my uncle - a Sako .308 and a Winchester .22. Are those even any good?? I think my first purchase though will be some type of Lee Enfield because that's what my grandfather carried in Italy. Every Canadian's collection should include one of those - don't you think? Well, I'm glad to be here and, at the very least, this will give something to do while the wife is watching "the Bachelorette".
